Saturday will be the wettest day of the weekend. Scattered showers will move across our area during the morning. Rain tapers off in afternoon before redeveloping on Saturday evening.
Highs only reach the mid 40s on Saturday in the Lyncburg and Roanoke area. Southside reaches 55 to 60.
Drier and warmer weather is on the way for Sunday! Highs top out near 70 with a SW breeze. It is a brief warm up though as colder weather returns for next week.
Temperatures are back in the upper 50s on Monday then it is back to the 40s on Tuesday.
